October 14 & October 21, 2023
Loyd Park on Joe Pool Lake | 3401 Ragland Rd, Grand Prairie, TX 75052

Fee: $20/vehicle park entry fee
Ages: All Ages

TWO nights of FRIGHTS!

Guests of Forest of Fear will witness the transformation of Loyd Park’s campgrounds into a drive-through Halloween experience like no other – all from the safety of their vehicles! This year’s event will be a drive-through-only experience. Hayrides, concessions, and other out-of-car features will not be offered this year. Please do not bring personal trailers. Admission is just $20 per vehicle. Restrooms are available throughout the park.

Due to expected long wait times, lake parks will place a marked truck in line at 8:30 p.m. indicating last car in line. No additional cars in line behind the marked truck will be admitted into the park

Forest of Fear is a very popular event. Typically, we see about 5,000 people per weekend. Guests should be prepared for up to a 3-hour experience if they want to take in the entire park. However, because the park is laid out in “loops”, you are not forced to drive through the entire thing. So, for those looking for a shorter experience, they have this option available. Typically, each “loop” takes about 20-30 minutes to drive, give or take.
