Walnut Creek Paddling Trail
  • This 4.9-mile trail offers a spectacular outdoor experience for nature lovers, outdoor recreation enthusiasts, families, and paddlers of all skill levels (children should be accompanied by an adult). Once you reach the Highway 360 overpass, turn around and enjoy the lazy current and prevailing southerly wind on your paddle back!

Hiking/Biking Trails

  • Hiking: Walnut Creek Trail – Trailhead located at southern end of park. Follow park road until the end. Parking and restrooms available at trailhead. 3+ miles of trail.
Equestrian
  • Hours: 6:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m.
  • Horse Trails – Trailhead located at southern end of park. Follow park road, after passing Loop A exit, trailer parking area will be marked with a sign on right.
  • Must provide a NEGATIVE COGGINS TEST for each horse being brought into the park to the gate attendant. Horses are allowed only on the horse trails or in campsites 1-10, if camping, but not in any other camping or day use areas of the park.
